The Keleher’s tradition of excellence began in 1952 when Frank Keleher became the first freelance shorthand reporter in Kern County. As success followed, Keleher’s Certified Shorthand Reporters was opened in 1970. The company continued with Frank’s original philosophy:

First and foremost are people – always be professional and produce a top-quality product while making sure the customer is treated as if they are part of the family.

Keleher’s was owned by Jean Keleher, Frank’s daughter, who started with the firm in 1978. Jean expanded Frank’s original ideas by adding amenities like spacious conference rooms, wireless internet & video conferencing. In 2018, Jean merged the business with Litigation Services, a nationwide deposition firm, which now allows her clients to access all of the services a large company can offer.
